As VP of Marketing, Louise Callagy is responsible for efforts that drive customer awareness and engagement with VenueNext, including brand strategy, digital, content marketing, public relations and partner marketing. Prior to VenueNext, Callagy led Marketing & Communications for Net Power & Light (NPL), a San Francisco-based technology company where she successfully launched and positioned the company and its premier mobile video product, Spin.
Before NPL, Callagy spent four years at Gap Inc. leading global external communications for the company and its portfolio of consumer fashion brands including Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Piperlime and Athleta. While there, she was the primary company spokesperson and strategic lead for financial, business, public affairs and crisis communications. In addition to this, she designed and implemented proactive marketing communications programs that supported growth, brand engagement and traffic driving efforts across brands.
Before Gap, Callagy spent 12 years in leadership positions at PR consulting firms including FleishmanHillard, SparkPR and Text100, where she devised and led marketing communications strategy for companies including Zillow Inc, Visa, Yahoo!, Expedia, Flickr, Gartner Group and Microsoft. Throughout her international career, Callagy was the recipient of multiple awards including the Gold Sabre Award for Consumer Marketing Campaign of the Year in 2007 and a PRSA Award in 2005. Callagy holds a B.BS in Economics and Business from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.
