Jed York is CEO of the San Francisco 49ers where he has oversees all aspects of the organization, a title he took over from his family five years ago after spending 5 years in various leadership roles within the organization. From the time Levi’s® Stadium was just a concept, one of Jed’s highest priorities was dreaming up a new fan experience, something truly fun and substantially better than anything else out there. In May 2015, just one season after opening, Levi’s Stadium won Sports Facility of the Year at the Annual Sports Business Journal Awards in New York.
Prior the the 49ers, Jed was a financial analyst at Guggenheim Partners in New York, a diversified financial services firm. While there, he worked across several areas, including private wealth management, hedge funds risk analysis, and collateralized debt obligations.
Outside his role as CEO of the 49ers, and Chairman of the Board of VenueNext, Jed also serves as a board member at Tipping Point Community, the Common Wealth Club, Bay Area Council, Silicon Valley Leadership Group, and the Council on Foreign Relations.
Jed holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance and history from the University of Notre Dame.
Jed lives in the Bay Area with his wife, Danielle, and son, Jaxon.
